Screenshot your word game board. See every best move.
Wordhawk reads a screenshot of your crossword-battle board and finds the highest-scoring plays available to you — exact scores, bonus squares and the 40-point seven-tile bonus included. Import a screenshot, check the board it read, and get your top moves in about a second. Everything runs privately on your device: no upload, no account, no ads.

Is it really a one-time purchase?
Yes. You get three free solves a day forever, and a single $9.99 purchase unlocks unlimited
solves. There is no subscription.
Why does the app not ask for photo permission?
Wordhawk uses Apple's photo picker, which hands the app only the single screenshot you
choose. It cannot see your photo library, and it never asks to.
A tile was read wrong — what do I do?
Tap the tile on the review screen and correct it. Fixing a tile is always free.
The app says "zoom out" — why?
Wordhawk needs the whole board in the screenshot. Pinch the game board all the way out
before you take the screenshot.
Is Wordhawk affiliated with The New York Times?
No. Wordhawk is an independent companion tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or
sponsored by The New York Times. It works from your screenshots only.
Data Not Collected. Wordhawk does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or images. All processing happens locally on your device.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
